RUBI filterpumps are extremely tough heavy duty filterpumps, suitable for mining, quarrying and heavy industrial applications. These filterpumps are cast iron with stainless steel intake filters. The powerful three phase motors have thermal overload protection and the intake screens are available in a range of mesh sizes.
The Rotorflush RUBI Range of submersible filter pumps with integral self-cleaning intake screens offer fine or coarse filtration while pumping up to 1000 litres a minute and provide the same low maintenance and efficient intake screening of our smaller filter pumps.
As with all our products RUBIs use Rotorflush's unique self-cleaning intake filter technology to deliver an uninterrupted supply of water while a continuous backwash keeps the intake, pump and other downstream equipment blockage free.
RUBI Range Submersible Pumps with Built-in Self-cleaning Intake Screens
The RUBI range is a range of industrial medium and high pressure self-cleaning filterpumps. These all cast iron and steel filterpumps combine pumping and screening and are ideal for use in harsh water conditions. This is due to RUBI filterpumps being based around extremely durable Tsurumi pump motors.
RUBI Range submersible Pumps have self-cleaning intakes that can be fitted with a range of mesh sizes:
115 or 300 micron nylon filter mesh
100 or 315 micron stainless steel sintered filter mesh
1mm or 2mm woven stainless steel mesh
3mm or 6mm perforated steel mesh.
In contrast to nylon filter mesh which needs renewing at intervals, stainless steel mesh can be pressure washed and is therefore ideal for more challenging environments. The RUBI range filterpumps can be fitted with 316 stainless steel self-cleaning intakes for heavy duty use.

NB: It is very important that three phase motor filterpumps are connected to their power source correctly, to ensure that the pump motor runs in the right direction. Please Note: Our filters are designed for use in dirty water or liquids with a viscosity close to that of water. Our filters and filterpumps are NOT suitable for use in raw sewage or any other dirty water which contains oils or fat.
