Small Filters
Small self-cleaning suction intake filters are small pump suction hose filters with a built-in self-cleaning mechanism that connect to the end of the suction pipe of a surface-mounted pump. The self-cleaning mechanism backwashes the filter mesh as your pump draws water whilst protecting your pump and other equipment from blockage.
Rotorflush manufactures small self-cleaning filters designed for lower-flow applications, providing filtered water from sources such as lakes, rivers, ponds.
Our small self-cleaning filters are back washed by taking a tee off the clean water output of your pump. Our unique and patented self-cleaning filter mechanism is driven by a proportion of filtered water sent back to the filter. The jets inside the filter gently remove debris, suspended solids from the filter mesh without impeding the flow of water through the filter, providing a reliable, low maintenance solution.
Our smaller capacity self-cleaning intakes are ideal for domestic and light industrial applications.
Here are some typical uses of these filters:
When selecting a small self-cleaning filter, it is important to consider the required flow rate, the type of water being filtered and the size of debris you need to remove.
Our RF100, our smallest range of self-cleaning filters are available with 1, 2, or 3 filter heads, for a range of flow rates from 30 litres a minute to 90 litres a minute. They can be fitted with 60, 115 or 250 micron mesh.
Rotorflush small self-cleaning filters are designed for lower-flow applications, but the most suitable model will depend on your individual requirements and installation.
