Jade

Jade submersible filterpumps are general use centrifugal pumps with a built-in self-cleaning intake. They are robust medium-head pumps that screen dirty water as they pump - the self-cleaning intake protects against blocking.

They both offer a maximum of 92 US GPM, the smaller JMXS1001 model has a maximum head of 82 ft, the larger JMXS1002 160 ft.

Jade filterpumps are made of cast iron and stainless steel, for durability. Typical uses for Jade filterpumps are:

• Septic Tanks and Soakaways
• Irrigation from lakes, ponds or rivers for irrigation
• Fountains and water features
• Screening water in open loop heat pump systems
• Hydroponics water filtration

These filterpumps are ideal for screening and pumping raw water for open loop heat pump systems, irrigation, pumping from septic tanks, rain and storm water management and more. 

The smallest Jades weigh in at 75 lbs, the largest at 88 lbs. Jade filterpumps can be suspended in tanks, sumps or ponds. They can be attached to floats or buoys, or raised and lowered on a guide-rail system.

For best performance, make sure that there is good clearance around the filterpump mesh so that back-washed debris can disperse, and that the filterpump is above any silt or sludge that may accumulate.

There is no such thing as an entirely maintenance free filter but Jade filterpumps, in keeping with all Rotorflush filtration products, are designed for low maintenance hassle-free use.  

The nylon mesh inserts are easily replaced, and stainless mesh can be cleaned with a pressure washer. There is a trade-off between mesh size and maintenance - how often depends on your mesh size and what you are filtering.

As a minimum we recommend the following:

• Mesh up to 115 micron should be cleaned or replaced every 1000 hours of use
• Mesh up to 315 micron should be cleaned or replaced every 5000 hours of use
• Coarse mesh that is 1 mm or bigger should be inspected and cleaned every 6 - 12 months
